“Good budget travel”

The hotel has a really nice garden that’s perfect for families with small kids, with a kids' centre in the restaurant and a playground in the garden, and the rooms are suitable for traveling with a child; even the restaurant has a toilet seat for kids, the staff were nice, the rooms were clean, and it was a cozy place with our room sharing a small internal garden with a couple of other rooms so the kids could play outside, plus the apple trees in the garden were a bonus; the pool could have been better maintained because it felt sandy, otherwise it was warm and not too crowded, the breakfast was very basic, and the restaurant doesn’t offer soups.

I had mixed feelings (I’ll explain below why); the staff were smiling, friendly, and responsive even though they were celebrating a big birthday and had a lot of work; the garden was generally pleasant and the outdoor pool looked good (we didn’t use it so I can’t say in detail); the food was tasty; the room was small but adequate, the child’s bed was a personal and a half, i.e. plenty for one child; overall it was clean, but my bathroom seemed not cleaned well enough; the TV didn’t work, the air‑conditioner didn’t work either, which was a problem because the room faced west and got hot from the sun; the door was very bad, even when locked there was a small crack that let you see the room (specifically the bed) and in such a bad condition a child could break it with a single stick; the spa centre wasn’t the cleanest and had a lot of dead insects; they threw a large amount of chlorine into the pool so our eyes literally watered for seconds and it was impossible to stand there; the little stream you see in the pictures had no water; the playground wasn’t especially maintained, and in my opinion it should be inspected, repaired and painted every year; the last drop was a child’s birthday party that was celebrated there; the music was very loud and we decided we couldn’t sleep, so we left late in the afternoon and found another place; they apologized (we weren’t the only ones leaving) and refunded us (after we asked); the main problem was that because the air‑conditioner didn’t work there was no way to close the window to at least muffle the noise; in the garden we couldn’t spend the evening without becoming participants in the birthday party (over 90 people), and in the room we had nothing to do because the TV didn’t work; a walk in the village didn’t seem like an option because it wasn’t very pleasant; so if you decide to book a room at this hotel, at least make sure there won’t be an event.

I’m leaving this review to spare others the complete disappointment we endured here. The hotel is in a terribly neglected state and far below its claimed category. In our room we were greeted by damp air and a smell of mold and sewage. The bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The room had exposed outlets, and the air‑conditioner had clearly not been serviced for years. Overall hygiene was extremely low. The biggest issue was the total lack of quiet. It turned out the hotel regularly hosts loud private events and weddings, and nobody warned us during booking. Restaurant music blasted across the entire complex, and the bass from the sound system shook our room. Reception handled our complaints with complete indifference, simply telling us that “this is the hotel’s policy during events” and that we could leave if we wanted. If you’re looking for a place to rest, sleep, or even minimal comfort, steer clear of this hotel. The money and nerves are definitely not worth it.

“Чудно местенце за релакс!”

Huge green park perfect for shaded walks and scenic snaps, great indoor pool with direct access to a sunny lawn, tasty food cooked on the spot, and staff from the owners to the room attendants were super friendly and responsive. Bonus: pets are always welcome and treated like family!
