“Eine einzige Katastrophe!”
Honestly, there was almost nothing (see below). The design of the "Loft" was pretty nice. The bed was okay. The accommodation was hard to find in Assisi because of missing signage ("light‑green door", no other signs), no reception, the city tax was higher than listed in the confirmation, there was no Wi‑Fi, the "Loft" on the ground floor offered no view and was very noisy from the street, the toilet flush was partially broken, the freezer in the fridge was completely frozen over because the door to the freezer had fallen off, there was no hot water in the morning, there was no entertainment (no TV or radio), there was no breakfast (even though it was advertised as a "B&B", there were not even "snacks or fruit" as promised – only an Italian espresso could be had), and the fire extinguisher was hidden behind a curtain instead of being clearly visible for emergencies.
The only good thing is the location. The B&B did not include breakfast, the room was furnished haphazardly, the beds were very uncomfortable, the entrance to the dark atrium at night was unsettling, and the bathroom mirror was unusable (old‑style) for shaving or makeup.
The place is in a great spot, and I never spotted any staff around, yet everything worked out flawlessly; I just wish there had been an extra pillow available.
The location is perfect for visiting Assisi, the owner is super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and spacious. We will definitely come back.

I was supposed to stay only one night, but I liked it so much I decided to extend. An old house in the center of Assisi, just steps from San Damiano, tucked into the streets and the enchanted quiet of the town. The room I was given was perfectly clean, comfortable, and beautiful, which truly won me over. The host was very kind and helped with any need. I will definitely return.
