The check‑in staff were very friendly, but once inside the building it felt like a typical dated Hampton Inn; for $350 a night I expected a lot more. The bed was comfortable, yet the room itself was basic and the walls were very thin, letting me hear every word from the neighboring room. Breakfast was meager, with rubbery scrambled eggs and overcooked sausage, leaving me unimpressed and I would not stay here again.

The location is beautiful, the neighborhood feels safe, and the view of Chateaux Elan is great; the room was very clean and quiet, and the breakfast selection was good, though the cheese omelet was a bit too spicy.
