The place was quiet and beautiful. We were the only guests at that time, so the space was huge. The beach was nearby and clean. We stayed mid‑September, the rooms were a bit cold, and there were a lot of flies, both live and dead, in the private and shared upper‑floor areas.

Last September, I returned to Eistvere after several summers there, drawn by the quiet lake, the peaceful surroundings, and the chance to swim when the sun was still bright. If you’re after silence and a beautiful landscape to relax or work undisturbed, this place fits the bill. The lake with its sandy beach and bathing slope is just a 100‑meter walk from the house, and the park also hosts the picturesque ruin of the former manor, whose story—Hermynia to the mills—offers a dramatic early‑20th‑century biography. The staff were affectionate, the house spacious, the breakfast superb, and the huge, well‑equipped kitchen lets you prepare every meal of the day. For those wanting variety, the area offers many sights to explore.

Oli Imavere is a lovely little village. When I first arrived, it became clear that the surroundings still hold several exciting spots—Liivimaa border, Rutikvere manor, Koigi manor… Breakfast featured an omelette and porridge (made with honey) and was served with homemade care. We could watch TV in the common room, and there’s also a lake nearby.

Very nice family-friendly spot, very pleasant. A fly screen in front of the window. Breakfast was prepared for us at the requested time. Around the corner is a nice, clean swimming spot. Super. Only the dimming curtains made us feel a lack in the morning.

Nice location. The house isn’t very cozy, there’s a lot of large empty space and you can literally hear every word next door, including the snoring. Plus someone set off the fire alarm in the middle of the night and it took forever to end.
