The view from the room was fantastic and the host gave us solid tips on where to go, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the bathtub after dark because there was no hot water and we weren’t allowed to change the water, which was a disappointment.

The chalet sits in a stunning spot with beautiful natural scenery, and the silence there is perfect for anyone looking to unwind; inside it was tidy, the breakfast was generous and tasty, and the hot shower worked without a hitch. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi was painfully slow, the price of R$550 felt steep for what was offered, the outdoor onsen was dirty and non‑functional, and we were hit with an unexpected pet surcharge that seemed unjustified.

Nestled in the woods, the place is a genuine spot to relax and the owners are courteous, and the simple breakfast was made with care. However, after a two‑night stay we found the housekeeping lacking—no fresh linens, towels, or bathroom trash removal—and we received no information about breakfast hours or internet access, plus there was no on‑site restaurant or bar as we had hoped.
