The location is great, warm and cosy, and the bathrooms are good. However, the Wi‑Fi instructions were wrong so I had no internet. The privacy glass made the place feel dark and dingy. There was no chair or desk, and everything was very basic.

The location was great, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the owners communicated well. The walls were very thin, so you could hear everything in the hallway and next door.

The spot was pretty on the route and close to the boat. The single loose bed by the door was very uncomfortable; a new mattress is definitely needed.

I got there late after a long day of driving. Nick had texted me earlier with check‑in details. The Swan is closed Monday to Wednesday, but if you need food and drinks you can get a discount at other nearby spots run by the same people. I grabbed something to eat on my way over. Entry was smooth and I parked safely in the side street next to the Swan. The hot shower and toiletries were nice. The value for money was good and everything matched the description, so I’m 100 % happy. Thanks, Nick. I left early to catch my ferry. I have no complaints about the Swan itself; the only issue was the people in the next room—sooooo noisy—but I was so tired I fell asleep anyway. Thanks again, Nick.
