The reception and dining service are very friendly, the place is nice for a few days, there’s a large parking lot available, the bedding is excellent, and the breakfast is varied. It’s disappointing that there’s no spot to drink or eat after 18 h in this season, though there are many other nearby places (except on Monday and Tuesday when many venues are closed).

The beer and restaurant were nice when open, and the modern room was nice. The distance from Chimay is too far to walk. We had a few beers after arriving at four o’clock, but the bar and restaurant closed at 6 pm, leaving us without food, no buses, and no taxis into Chimay, so we couldn’t eat that night. Really annoying.

A great hotel for a beer lover, everything is centered around Chimay. The mini‑fridge in the room is stocked with various Chimay beers, and the rooms themselves are named after Chimay brews. In the restaurant you can order dishes that incorporate Chimay beer or cheese, which is a fun experience even if you’re not into beer. The beds are good, the bathroom is fine, and the restaurant is nice. Nothing to complain about.
