The food was delicious and I appreciated the welcome drink being available late; the property’s plants and architecture really capture Okinawan vibe and history, and the simple large communal bath was very refreshing. The vending machines for snacks didn’t accept brand‑new bills or coins, though the front desk exchanged money for me right away.

The name “Okinawa Hotel” seems to come from its early founding, but it’s now hard to find and searching the name brings up other, more convenient options. I chose this place for a traditional‑style room; the space is a bit small but tolerable. Sunday evenings are quiet, and you can tell the old inn has been renovated and is reasonably maintained. The large bath’s shampoo and conditioner were disappointing—the conditioner was very thin, so I’d recommend bringing your own.
