“I did not stay, it was awful, I request full reimbursement.”

I brought my own breakfast. I didn't like any part of the accommodation and checked out the next day, 11 August, to find other lodging. The porta‑loo was too low for me and lacked a plumbed‑in water supply. There was no shared bathroom; only a shower block a bit further down the road. The bed was only about 10 cm from the wall, so I had to crawl to the edge to get out. I tried contacting the owners but received no reply.

Exactly what we needed for something entirely different; I hadn't camped in over 16 years, so I thought this would be a good compromise.

The spot is fantastic, right by the beach. The on‑site facilities are very well maintained. Initially I was a bit surprised there was no plumbed‑in water, but I soon got used to it and it became a quirky novelty of the holiday. The van was very basic in décor and highly functional, yet it had a quirky individuality that grew on me throughout my stay. It might not appeal to everyone, but I loved it. I didn't know what to expect from a 'glamping' holiday, but the value for money and the fact that I could get somewhere at all during peak season was a real deal‑breaker. Overall I was very happy with this blend of caravanning and camping. Highly recommended.
