Designed by Champalimaud, the property showcases Hawaiian art in partnership with The Honolulu Museum of Art public art program. The overall experience was great. Every staff member we met—from the bell desk, front desk, housekeeping, valet, to the pool—was friendly in a natural way. The room was comfortable, featuring modern touches such as sheer and blackout blinds that can be controlled by a button, a bedside panel that manages all the lights, and of course a bidet. The location is excellent, right in the middle of everything. While there isn’t a bar or restaurant, the sister property Halekulani is right across the street and more than compensates for that. The parking fee being called “nominal” is a joke; $60/night is standard in the area and shouldn’t be downplayed.

The location is perfect. The room offered excellent value. There was no noise issue. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bakery food and value were extraordinary.

The location is great, close to the beach. The pool is amazing and the gym is spacious. I wish the pillows and mattress were a bit firmer.

The view from the room is absolutely stunning, and the lanai is just as gorgeous— I could keep looking at the scenery without getting bored. I felt like the amenities were getting fewer and fewer; after watching a YouTube video of someone staying here, I noticed they had significantly less than what I saw.
