The welcome was lovely, the hosts were very attentive, and the house in the city center was quiet with refined décor; the room was bright and very comfortable. However, a tablet in the bathroom for toiletries would be helpful, and the breakfast lacked cereals and eggs, which was a bit inconvenient.

A beautiful spot right in Saumur, with kind and thoughtful hosts, well-equipped rooms, and impeccably clean surroundings. Nothing to complain about—it was flawless.

The hosts were charming and went far beyond what we expected to help with our car troubles, for which we’re very grateful. The only downside was the heat; the fan in the room didn’t do much, making sleep difficult, but they plan to install air conditioning soon, which will be perfect.

The location and the hotel’s beauty, plus the flexibility to adjust the early breakfast schedule for the Saumur marathon, were great. The downside was the misleading claim that parking was inside the hotel when you actually need to use a nearby paid lot.

The location is unbeatable—quiet and within five minutes of the center, with a public parking garage only 200 m away that’s very cheap and had plenty of free spots at the time. The room itself is spacious, with a sleeping/ living area, a dressing room, and a large bathroom that has a separate toilet. Florence & Christian are excellent hosts, always ready with activity tips and deep knowledge of French wines. We would come back.
