We booked 30 minutes before arrival, nobody was waiting for us, but we called the owner and she was super responsive to welcome us. The room was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the shower hot, and the breakfast was very, very good!

Everything was perfect; the hostess treated me like family. She made breakfast to my liking (banana pancakes, donuts, orange juice, etc.) and made sure I had nothing to miss. She also arranged a scooter rental for my stay and offered her services for Mont Ijen. She kindly provided a gas mask, glasses, and a winter jacket for my Mont Ijen excursion for a few rupiahs. She even dropped me off at the station for free so I wouldn’t miss my train. She truly has a heart of gold!

Clean rooms and genuinely welcoming hosts who gave us a family‑like vibe. We could choose from several breakfast options and had coffee and tea available, plus a surprise breakfast at 4 am for check‑out. The stay was fantastic. However, we booked a room with a window, yet one room faced the corridor and the other faced another guest’s room, and the bathroom was tiny.
