“Hosteria Foike was everything we were looking for, like we were staying at a friend's cozy home”

Hosteria Foike was perfect for us. It was peaceful and comfy, breakfast was delicious, and the location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Pilar at the front desk gave great suggestions for excursions, meals, and answered all our questions about local customs. Her English is excellent, and she was very patient with our rudimentary Spanish skills.

The hot bath. Breakfast is weak and follows the Argentine standard: almost no fruit options! In Brazil, hotels and inns serve a breakfast with far more fruit abundance! My wife and I hated that huge, dangerous staircase (the height of the steps doesn’t follow any standard), causing many difficulties for elderly people. When we arrived at the inn, we used the damned stairs to go to the center of Ushuaia. Then we only used Uber (the only cheap thing in the city) to go up and down the hill where the inn is! The inn’s elevator does not stop on the floor levels, creating a small step that requires attention and a lot of care!

Very close to the “center” by two streets. What you see on the web and what it actually is have nothing to do with each other. Breakfast is very limited.
