Located in a 17th-century royal palace within an English park next to Lake Mälaren, Rosersbergs Slottshotell is a 10-minute drive from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Rooms are in original palace buildings or an annexe, with period or modern furnishings, private bathrooms, and some offering palace grounds views. The on-site restaurant serves modern cuisine and traditional dishes. Guests enjoy free access to a gym, saunas, and a nearby steamboat jetty with bathing opportunities.

The castle was very beautiful and you could walk around it nicely, and the restaurant served great food, but I can't rate the main castle accommodation—only the annex, which was quite small and more suited for one or two nights, though it was very clean.

Everything was perfect and beautiful: the rooms were charming, the special lakeside walks were refreshing, the restaurant was clean and the staff were very kind (Peppe is fantastic!), though the menu and quality were only okay, not excellent. They don’t serve cappuccino at breakfast. The only flaw was that we came to see the castle, but it was closed for tours during the week, something that should be noted on their website because I had planned to visit it and ended up not seeing it even though we stayed there. That said, I recommend it. Maybe it’s better to stay in Sigtuna (you can still visit the castle there, just 15 minutes by car).

Location was fine, but the room was very small, the style was old but not the issue, it wasn’t maintained, the sink water was hard to turn on so I used the shower instead, the lighting in the room was terrible, the reception felt almost robotic, and the old reviews don’t meet even 1% of my expectations, though the location is 100% worth it.
