I'm still reeling from my stay at Spinney Lodge, which exceeded all my expectations. The Lodge itself was a haven of tranquility, with an ambiance that was simply magical. Phill and Maria, the hosts, were absolute stars – so accommodating, friendly, and responsive to any query I had. The location was perfect, and I loved using the boat to explore the surrounding area. The private wooded garden was a real highlight, providing a serene oasis after a long day.

“So relaxing and peaceful and definitely would go back”

Spinney Lodge is a true gem, set amidst a stunning location and a beautiful lake. Maria and Phil are the perfect hosts, always on hand to offer a warm welcome and helpful advice. Sparkie, their adorable dog, was the icing on the cake – a daily visit from this cute little chap was the perfect way to start the day. I only wish I could have stayed longer to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the surroundings.

Phil and Maria's exceptional hosting skills made our stay at The Hideaway truly unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even staying up late to help us after a motorway mishap. The Hideaway itself is a tranquil retreat, offering a peaceful escape from the chaos of city life. While the Wi-Fi was a bit patchy, it was a small price to pay for the serenity and seclusion of this idyllic spot.

Our stay at Spinney Lodge was a resounding success, thanks to the warm hospitality of Phill and Maria. The room was spotless and well-presented, and the facilities were top-notch. The location and property were absolutely superb, with plenty of opportunities to explore the local area. We couldn't fault a single thing – it was all just so good!
