The location by the lake is beautiful and great for birdwatching. It’s clear the hotel is family‑oriented, and the breakfast included lovely dishes like a superb omelette and “purjeni filicki,” a Bulgarian French toast with jam and honey. One night was a bit noisy because of other guests, but the problem was quickly resolved.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help, even serving breakfast before the official time so we could start birdwatching. The views over the lagoon were lovely. The heating in our room was only an air system, and the double room was not very large.

Breakfast was alright, they mixed it up each day with stuff like pizza, omelets, and pastries. Unfortunately, there were a ton of wasps around, and my husband got stung twice in a row. The room had a weird smell, probably from the toilet.

The view of the lake was lovely, but that's about where the positives end. We had a bit of a nightmare with mice - one even scurried across our room floor - and the rooms had a pretty bad smell. The staff seemed really unfriendly, and to make matters worse, the kitchen exhaust fan was broken and made a racket until 11 pm. Breakfast was a letdown, too - just a bunch of fried food that didn't exactly hit the spot.
