The spot is gorgeous, rooms are large, AC works, the pool with jets is great for sore legs and body, definitely hit the pool; they also have a steam room and sauna. Entry costs $16 and you must wear a swimsuit and swim cap for both men and women, so bring those or they’ll sell them to you. We booked a massage ahead because they run out of slots that day. The hotel is far from Camino, so a cab was needed to get there, but in the morning there were no cabs so you’ll have to walk about 4 miles to Camino when you start the next day, and there’s a steep incline right after leaving the resort—plan for that.

The surroundings are beautiful and the staff is amazing, but the buffet was a bit thin—no eggs or bacon, just some fruit, cold cuts, cereals and cookies.

The location is good, but for me it felt old and outdated, even hospital‑like. (I had a wheelchair‑accessible room, so all the bathroom aids looked really hospital‑like). The restaurant served huge portions, very greasy, and was very rough; nothing was refined. It’s too pricey for what it is.

The best part was the location and the staff. I didn’t like that the bathtubs have shower curtains; it always seemed less hygienic than a partition. Everything was super clean, but when you get in the shower the curtain at the bottom is black, if you leave it outside the tub the water spills out, and if you leave it inside it’s a bit of a mess.
