“Nooit meer”
The location was good, yet everything felt totally outdated and uncomfortable, and it was overpriced. The breakfast was abominable; I didn’t touch it again the next day.

We were made very welcome, the views were astonishingly beautiful and the grounds lovely, and I enjoyed learning about the manor’s history from the Count himself. The food was a little bland.

The quiet setting, the whole experience, the pleasant pool, and the very tasty breakfast were all positives. However, there was no air‑conditioning, and we couldn’t open the terrace window at night because a house dog would just walk into the room; when we closed it, it barked for a long time. The dinner with the Count was a real highlight, though the food was okay but the portions were very small.

The manor is wonderful, it feels like traveling back in time while still having modern comforts, the staff is very attentive, and the views are amazing—perfect for disconnecting. The downside was that there was no air‑conditioning and it was very hot during the day, but at night it was fine.
