The location was perfect, but be aware that the driveway is quite steep, so it may be a challenge for some.

What a magnificent experience in the heart of nature, everyone was extremely friendly, and I can’t think of any downside at all.

The rural complex strikes a perfect balance between countryside charm and modern comfort, set in an unrivaled setting with flawless staff; the only thing I could point out is that the room entry doors are a bit plain.

The spot is ideal—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by gorgeous Asturian scenery with breathtaking views, giving plenty of chances to unwind and soak in the surroundings. It’s the perfect escape from the city’s hustle to experience Asturias’ beauty. The place stayed spotless, cozy, and well maintained, and the hospitality really shone. We’d gladly return and strongly recommend Casona de El Castañiu to anyone heading to Asturias!
