“Ottimo Riad per posizione e brevi soggiorni”
The location is ideal for any tour because it’s on one of the city’s main streets. The typical Moroccan Riad vibe. Great value for money. Airport transfer service is super efficient. The Riad wasn’t very clean and the welcome was limited to a tea. The room and bathroom were really small, you couldn’t move around.
“bel endroit calme et convivial pour un court sejour en plein centre de Marrakech .”
I landed in a quiet spot that was easy to locate, and the welcome was friendly. They offered arrival tea and the setting felt like a riad with a small central pool. The rooms were modest but comfortable, with decent bathrooms. Breakfast could be taken in the dining area or by the pool, it was hearty and authentically Moroccan. The overall décor was pleasant and the place stayed quiet. Prices matched the quality and the riad’s location.
“Peut mieux faire”
The location was perfect, right next to the medina without the hassle of narrow alleys, and reachable by car. Everything nearby was convenient, yet it stayed quiet. Monia and Fatima were caring, kind, and always smiling. Cleaning of rooms and common areas was spotless. The large stoves and varied traditional breakfasts were a real treat 😋 Thanks to them 😉 On the downside, the air‑conditioning didn’t work and there was no hair dryer, contrary to what was advertised. There was no communication between the manager and guests throughout the stay, except when money was demanded (tax on the last day and drinks). The lack of hospitality didn’t reflect the friendliness we’d seen elsewhere in Morocco. If you plan to stay out late (around 2 am), make sure you have the night watchman’s contact; otherwise you might find yourself on the street while he was deep asleep. Finally, the pool was just a simple basin and its cleanliness was disappointing. The riad could use a refresh.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. When we needed to have breakfast earlier due to an appointment, they were very attentive and adjusted the breakfast time without any problem—an excellent display of availability and care for guests. The experience was quite inconsistent between rooms. In some, the bed was made and new towels were provided, while in others that didn’t happen. Cleaning quality varied a lot: some rooms were impeccably clean, but in others the pillows had a strong mold smell.
The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, greeting you warmly.
