The spot itself is perfect – right in the heart of everything you’d want to see. Unfortunately the staff left a lot to be desired: we got there at 4 p.m., it was raining, and we ended up waiting about half an hour for someone to show up, which made us think about leaving.

The people working there are genuinely friendly, and whenever something went off track they jumped on it and tried to fix it. It felt like they really cared about making the stay smooth, which made a big difference.

Everything was fine – nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. It was just an average experience overall.

There was nothing positive to mention. The bathroom was shared with three other rooms, a fact that wasn’t disclosed at booking, and the blankets were old and the sheets downright dirty. It felt like a cheap, poorly maintained place.
