Located in northern oasis Mae Hong Sorn, Baan Kung Kang De Pai hotel features a large outdoor swimming pool with panoramic mountain views and free Wi-Fi. Air-conditioned rooms have balconies, TVs, and minibars, along with en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers bicycle tours, a restaurant serving local and international cuisine, and free shuttles to Pai bus station, just 1 km from the city centre and Kung Kang Temple.

I booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 15; the place is beautiful in nature, has a lovely 25 m swimming pool, offers excellent value, and is perfect for families with small children; the staff are very friendly local girls and a helpful lady at reception, so I would definitely return next year if possible.

The swimming pool is the best in the country, nice, clean, and the host is very organized; however, you need to take a taxi (100‑150 Baths) to get to Mai.

It was a bit far from the center but we had a rented scooter, so that was no problem; the natural surroundings are amazing, the pool is huge, and the staff are friendly; everything else was fine.
