I was upgraded to a cabin that was wonderful—spacious, with laundry facilities and two rooms, ideal for a family. The location sits between a highway and a train line, and trains ran all night; I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t disturb me, but it could bother others.

The rooms were clean and the attached restaurant was excellent for dinner. However, the rooms felt dated, and the advertising misled me into thinking it was a cabin when it was actually a roadside motel. The floorboards on the deck were loose, the room lacked tissues and a hair dryer, and there was active railroad activity in the back along with bad road noise.

The owner was rude when we asked about wifi and TV service. The restaurant was closed, and when it was open it was only for dinner, even though the listing says it’s open for lunch and dinner.
