We had a great time in KuK Račice – the apartment was clean, comfy and tucked away by the river in a quiet, leafy area. I’m usually a light sleeper, yet I actually slept fine away from my own bed. Michal was a fantastic host, let us check in early and out late, and was always ready to help with a smile. No complaints at all, I’d recommend it to anyone after a relaxed break.
The rooms are right on the Elbe bike trail and are pretty basic – the toilet is down the hall, the shower is in the room, and the sink also works as a dish‑washing basin. Unfortunately the price was far too high; it felt like one of the most expensive and lowest‑quality places we stayed at on our tour.
The spot sits on a tranquil edge of a little forest, right above the canal, and the terrace is perfect for just sitting and watching the water. The only drawback was breakfast – it often didn’t appear until around 8:30, which felt a bit late. Otherwise a pleasant, low‑key place to unwind.
