Central location, the café offers budget‑friendly breakfasts. The internet was good. Work‑friendly, but if it were a leisure trip it would feel different because you’d be living near a university.

The room is part of the Murray Edwards College dormitory, giving the convenience and vibe of staying on campus. The layout is fresh and compact, the facilities aren’t new but are kept reasonably well. Art Cafe breakfast is good, staff are enthusiastic. The room is a bit small. The shower water is a little limited.

Large room and very close to the city centre. Breakfast is basic, checkout is early in the morning (9am)

Convenient location and a hot breakfast was provided, this time. The mattress was older than the college. Lumpy and uncomfortable. There was some distance between the photo and the actual room. I don’t know what they’re thinking with the toilet card, laminated, college crest. These sorts of things are guaranteed to make people feel unwelcome “UK” etiquette indeed

It was a little farther from the city centre, but that matched what I was looking for.
