“XL review”

The room was worth the money. I only stayed one night and had to return for emergency issues, but the room was clean and tidy. It was a bit small, but you can’t expect a king‑size room for £40+. The only downside was the toilet: one side was the wall, the other was a walk‑in shower, so I, being XL, struggled, though it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Staff were lovely and helpful; I arrived very late but they waited for us. All the best. Will come back again. Please check the toilet if you are XL like me; you won’t have space to spread the world to wipe the future.

“Excellent but stairs difficult for us oldies, easy access to town amenities and buses to Poole, etc.”

Breakfast was consistently excellent and the room was spacious enough for us seniors, with a staff member escorting us up and down the stairs when we checked out. The chef who prepared our breakfast was very friendly, and the hotel offers good value for families while being close to the M1, M2 bus stops and within walking distance of Bournemouth Square, the gardens, the seafront, cinema, and theatre. The downside is that the stairs are a bit tough since there’s no lift, and the bar shuts at 8 PM.

“Very pleasant Would stay again.”

The staff were extremely helpful, but the room felt a bit cramped; I would have preferred a bit more space.
