The ancient stone building with a big garden in the heart of Val Trebbia is beautiful. The room is basic yet well kept, very clean, and the bathroom is the same. Breakfast is plentiful and served on a terrace overlooking Pietra Parcellara. There’s a common area with a kitchenette and a fridge. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!

The Mateu house and his wife’s building is a historic structure with a patio‑garden in front of a façade where the vine partially creeps in. It’s a small paradise. They took great care of us, considering we were on a cycling route between Piacenza and Bologna and needed to store and charge our electric bikes. It was hot in Emilia‑Romagna (July 2025), and even though the room had no air conditioning, the ceiling fan let us sleep very well and more sustainably.

This place is the most peaceful and serene, perfect for relaxing. The owners helped us with everything and were very kind. We’ll definitely come back. Everything was great.

The location is beautiful among the hills of Val Trebbia. The property is very welcoming and clean, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is abundant and of excellent quality. The owners Matteo and Donatella made us feel at home. We’ll definitely return!
