Our room was huge, with a generous bathroom and very quiet because it doesn’t face the lagoon. Breakfast isn’t offered on site; you’ll find several options right around the hotel. The décor is classic Italian, an older style but very cohesive. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating! For a city trip it’s fine, the location is great – a 3‑5 minute walk to Markusplatz – the rooms are a bit noisy, but that didn’t really bother us.

The location is fantastic; we could walk everywhere and the vaporetto to both St Lucia station and the airport was just a 3‑minute walk. The balcony room by the quay with the beautiful sunset was wonderful; the quay was lively during the day but super quiet at night. The staff and housekeeping were super friendly. The only downside was the shower with a hand‑shower under the slanted roof, which took a moment to get used to but wasn’t very uncomfortable.

The staff were friendly. The quirky welcoming hotel sits in a fantastic spot. We stayed in a room over the quiet courtyard, which was perfect after a hectic day in the city. Nothing else.
