Friendly staff, very accommodating with check‑in times for late arrivals, but the room, bathroom and linens felt musty, the bed had a sweat smell and there were stains on the walls and in the bathroom.

The location is great, close to the metro and bus, but the room was unhygienic: mold in the bathroom, spider webs everywhere on the ceiling, tape still stuck on the ceiling lights—probably left over from painting a few years ago—an entirely covered carbon monoxide detector, a broken night lamp, a damaged light switch, a broken toilet lock, used tissues in the nightstand drawer, and a hole in the sheet.

It’s not a five‑star property, but it’s spotless and close to the centre.

A biting chemical odor.

The place is close to the center for the price and offers good public‑transport access; it’s cheap for Berlin, but that’s why it’s cheap. The walls are thin and you’ll hear neighbors banging and other noises—if you’re okay with that, it’s fine, otherwise pay a little more elsewhere.
