The room was large with a wooden floor, making it easy to stay with kids, but the breakfast, priced at 15,000 won for adults and children alike, offered nothing for the kids and was the same for foreigners, so I, the Korean adult, ended up eating most of it. The power outlets in the room were unreliable, sometimes dead, and one day the phone didn’t work at all. Because of the extended stay they didn’t clean, there was no water, and when I asked for more they said they’d bring it up, but the staff seemed short‑handed; I went down from the 13th floor and got no apology, which surprised me.
