The location is close to a really cool bar, clean, and the staff are friendly. It’s near the rice market and other shops. The road right in front of the hotel can be noisy, but it quiets down in the evening.

The rooms are large with private bathrooms, very clean, and the hosts are kind. It’s well‑situated next to the great restaurant the mopî’s. You can head to Koka Beach during the day (about 1 hour). It’s also close to the departure point for Kelimutu. The only issue is that breakfast is very basic.

The place was clean, comfy, and close to restaurants. The host was lovely, provided a tasty breakfast, and helped arrange transport to and from the airport as well as a day trip to Kelimutu and other local spots. The road is the main one, so there are noisy vehicles all the time and roosters – bring earplugs!

The hotel is very central, right next to a popular café. The room is very spartan, the beds are saggy and the pillows are too hard. Showering is basically in the toilet. Because it’s on the street, it’s very loud, almost like rollers are racing through the room. Everything else was clean.

The reception, the central spot in Moni that lets you reach Kelimutu in 20 minutes, the option to rent a scooter directly at the guest house, the garden overlooking the road (which is still very pleasant), the comfortable bed, and the superb breakfast of crepes, fruit, and coffee… The only thing that wasn’t a problem for us but might bother others is that the guest house is next to a restaurant that plays live music, so you hear everything. If you’re sensitive, grab earplugs and a night mask for the light that seeps through the curtains.
