The owners at Mizu are incredibly kind and helpful, and the breakfast is fantastic; the only downside is that it’s farther from the city center, though they gladly offered to drive us there and back.

I chose this spot for my birthday and couldn’t have made a better decision—right from arrival I was welcomed with flawless, warm service full of affection, and the hosts’ attentiveness was indescribable, always ready to make the stay perfect; the place feels like a private paradise, a special nook that makes you slow down, breathe deeply and feel grateful to be there, and the people make it even more memorable—Bruna’s food is a whole other story, delicious and made with such love that every meal feels like an event, Widson’s massage was wonderful and rounded out the relaxing moments, and little Cadu’s sweetness stole my heart; I left feeling like family, full of beautiful memories, gratitude and a strong urge to return for more of that cozy feeling.

Ficar no Mizu é uma experiência além de hospedagem. É como se a hospedagem em si fosse mais um passeio que você faz em Alter do chão. A família é incrível, o café da manhã e a comida maravilhosa, e as conversas muito divertidas. Isso tudo sem perder o conforto do local.

Staying at Mizu feels like being at home; Widson is a great host who greeted us each day with kindness, cheerfulness and great helpfulness, and even though it’s a bit farther from downtown it never caused any trouble thanks to the easy transport the place provides; Bruna’s cooking is jaw‑dropping, a daily feast of Pará flavors, varied local fruits and obvious love, even offering vegetarian options—the soy lasagna and bolognese were the best I’ve ever had; Cadu, the most charming child I’ve ever met, was the ultimate guide to the yard, the animals and the trees, making our stay even more special; the room itself was comfortable with a large bed, good shower, bathtub, air‑conditioning and spotless cleanliness; Mizu is unlike any place I’ve seen, full of heart and dedication from this family, turning the visit into a unique experience.
