Located steps from the Museum Beim Strumpfar, Pension Schihütte provides a central Oberstaufen base, 61 km from Friedrichshafen Airport. Rooms feature private bathrooms, carpeted and tiled floors, wardrobes, TVs and free Wi‑Fi. Guests enjoy a sun terrace, garden, coffee shop, outdoor seating and bicycle parking. Nearby ski, hike, cycle and winter sports; private check‑in/out, luggage and ski storage, plus free parking.

Breakfast was very good and plentiful; the inn’s location is very central, and the train and bus stops are easily reachable.

A sweet little pension, lovingly decorated with attention to detail. Some furnishings are brand new (e.g., the bed and wardrobe), while others, like the bathroom, are a bit older but functional and spotless. The innkeeper is incredibly warm, making you feel instantly welcome. Breakfast is fantastic, especially the homemade Bircher‑müsli and the option of a cooked egg or scrambled/spinach‑egg; even a snack bread can be taken home, which isn’t common. The location couldn’t be better, right in the middle of town, a perfect launchpad for all kinds of excursions. The price‑value ratio is unbeatable. I was thrilled and will definitely return.

I can only echo the previous reviews. The owner is very friendly, giving the place a great personal vibe. The rooms are nice with good mattresses, and the breakfast is excellent. No complaints at all; we’ll come back gladly.
