The place offers a 24‑hour bar, an open‑kitchen that never closes and a gym, but checking in was a nightmare – I had to wait behind five other guests and it took me a full hour before a staff member finally processed my registration.

The spot is convenient and one morning employee was genuinely friendly, though I didn’t catch her name; the rest of the staff were far from courteous and even gave me a key to the wrong room, which I discovered when I opened the door to find it already occupied (luckily no one was inside at the time). The bar didn’t serve espresso at all – not even a simple Nespresso‑type machine – and when I asked about it, the staff just pointed to brewed coffee being sold at a kiosk near the entrance. I paid roughly 2,000 reais for the stay, the food was decent, especially compared to a hotel in Minas Gerais with a much richer cuisine, but I won’t return to what turned out to be the worst Ibis I’ve ever experienced.
