Hilton Garden Inn Houston/The Woodlands

“This hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn in The Woodlands TX was not open for business the night I booked.”

The Hilton Garden Inn was not open for business the night of my booked stay for Aug 6th. Apparently, they are remodeling. I did not get any notification of this and received a cancellation email from the hotel the morning of my stay. I called the hotel that morning several times and the phone was busy. I then called what appeared to be a number that I found on the internet. I was told the booking was not confirmed and the charges would be $151 more dollars on top of what I had already agreed to pay to “Reissuance Authorization for”. Of course, when I showed up at the hotel later that evening, it was closed for business.

“sencilla y comfortable”

Breakfast was very well stocked and suited to the time and length of stay. The room was well located on the property, had all the services and an extra‑large bed. The door’s security lock didn’t work, but I didn’t report it because of the arrival time.

The place is great for its location, but you end up paying extra for parking.

“Wonderful stay”

The location and comfort of the hotel were both excellent.

“Aside from that instance it was a nice stay.”

We were within walking distance of all the spots we wanted to hit, and the hotel itself was nice, especially the outdoor seating area. The rooms were very nice too. However, we were seated near the front doors in a lounge area and were opening a bottle of wine when an employee told us we couldn't open anything or have food because the bar was closed. The staff were eating chicken fil a and Canes while it rained outside, which felt inhospitable and rude, and they refused to serve the wine we were opening.
