“A great place to embark on an amazonian adventure”
Programs were great, well organised, balancing cultural and wildlife excursions. We experienced the traditions of the indigenous Kichwa culture and saw many wild animals such as caimans, birds, frogs, monkeys, arthropods, etc. Food was simple but good, with a wide variety; if portions were insufficient we could always ask for more. Staff were amazing, always ensuring everything ran smoothly. The community area was spacious, cozy, comfortable, and offered a great view of the river. Trails around the lodge let us spot many animals. Rooms had a spacious bathroom and extensive mosquito nets that provided excellent ventilation while giving a rainforest immersion feeling, yet still safe and protected. However, the bunk beds were uncomfortable, which may just be our opinion, and a blind over the mosquito net at the back of the building would help, as the pathway lights stayed on all night and illuminated the ceiling.
