The rooms are traditional and clean, but the door security leaves something to be desired.

I stayed in a beautiful room with traditional Japanese décor, super comfy and well‑furnished, and the lovely couple running the place were incredibly kind and helpful.
The place was clean, spacious, comfy, and the location was excellent, plus there was a lift.
We had the hotel for ourselves, with a private onsen that was greatly appreciated; the couple running the hotel are very kind.
Staff were very helpful, and the beds were huge and comfortable.
