I was drawn to the lively vibe of the property, and the grounds were kept in excellent condition; as a simple man, I loved the traditional Javanese timber style. Both Made and Kutut were incredibly welcoming, and I’d highly recommend it. The bed was super comfy, the space was clean, and the staff were amazing—plus the in‑house pet Muchie was a joy to walk on the beach.

“Un petit coin de paradis”

There were only a few reviews, and it’s hard to understand why: the place is exceptional, with just two rooms, and over the two nights we spent there we had the infinity pool all to ourselves. It’s gorgeous and peaceful in a perfectly maintained garden, and there’s a restaurant just 30 seconds on foot next door. Made’s welcome was incredible—she was so kind and helpful, and her breakfasts were simply delicious; there was nothing to complain about, it was perfect! Thank you to the whole team. This is the first time I’ve left a review on booking because this place truly deserves it, and it’s also just steps from the beach where you can book an ethical dolphin‑watching excursion instead of at Lovina.

The Joglo was beautiful, the garden was well kept with a lovely pool, and Made was very helpful; we had a great stay. The downside was that there was no water in the room, and when Made wasn’t around there was no way to drink. A small information booklet about nearby activities is missing—where to eat in the evenings, for example.
