Casa do Farol Guesthouse

“Evaluation”

The spot in the old town is close to all sights, and the two upstairs rooms have a small private terrace. The old room was too small, and the bathroom and toilet were outside the room on the landing, which was really tiny and in bad condition – the coat hook behind the door was hanging, the sink cabinet doors were peeling paint, the toilet was crooked, and there were black stains on the shower tray side.

“Miejsce jest słabe jakościowo ale lokalizacja nadrabia niedogodności”

The location was great, but key pickup was 20 minutes away, check‑in only between 16‑19, no room number on the door, hard to find the room, the door handle didn't work, had to lock the bathroom door each time, it was dirty, breakfast was just a dry roll with salami and a 1 l milk carton, the terrace and kitchen lacked chairs and a table for comfortable seating, and there was no air conditioning.

The location of the accommodation is very central and close to the beach. The place did not match the description in many ways: size, cleanliness, facilities, the “privacy” of the unit, fees, breakfast. The value for money was completely off. We were very disappointed by the poorly maintained property (including mold in the room and bathroom). Many things were unusable (refrigerator/freezer full of ice, never defrosted), there were hardly any seating or tables (far too few for the number of guests). It was noisy, shared infrastructure with other people (not described in the pre‑arrival info). The key pickup was outside, requiring a visit; extra fees were charged if you couldn’t pick it up between 16 and 19 Uhr. You didn’t feel welcome or protected, and it didn’t feel like a vacation at all. I will never book here again.

“Non consiglio”

The location was good and the environment quiet. Check‑in was elsewhere, so we had to pay 7 € for Uber to get to the property. The building was dilapidated, there was no soap or anything else in the bathroom (as listed), we asked for it and they never brought it. Breakfast came in a bag every morning with canned milk that you had to prepare yourself in a dirty, impractical kitchen. In the room there was nowhere to put things or hang them.

“Buono per una notte per visitare la cittadina”

The place was well situated. The private bathroom was outside the room, so you had to walk through the corridor with other rooms, and breakfast was basic (quantities were fine, but it was just essential).
