The Stoneridge Resort in Blanchard offers 19-hole golf course access, a 10-minute walk to Lake San Souci, and sports courts. Each lodge-style room features a private balcony with views, full kitchen, flat-screen cable TV, DVD player, and coffee maker. On-site amenities include an indoor saltwater pool, hot tub, fitness centre, steam room, playground, and basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts. Downtown Spirit Lake is 9 miles away.

The place was nice, calm and quiet, but the rooms had no coffee supplies.

It was a great spot for a family: the rooms were roomy, the kitchen worked well and stocked, and the resort offered plenty of weekly activities for kids, plus a pool, tennis court, indoor volleyball and badminton courts, exercise room, and mini‑golf (extra fee). The rooms looked clean, the beds were comfy, and there was even a hot‑dog party! The pool was cold and no toiletries were supplied.

The location was nice and the staff were friendly, though being a golf course means things cost a bit more than elsewhere. There weren’t enough beds for a family of five; every room had one bed and a pull‑out couch, so my boyfriend’s daughter slept in a chair.

We had a wonderful stay: the property was clean, beautiful, and well‑maintained, with plenty of activities for the whole family—mini‑golf for the kids, sauna, hot tubs, a swimming pool, volleyball, tennis, and a playground. My kids had an amazing time and really enjoyed everything, and we also loved cooking our own food and spending quality time together. Overall, it was a great family experience and we would definitely return.
