I had to pay for the room in cash because the reception said the Booking payment couldn’t be processed, even after I contacted Booking; the room leaked, the electrical outlets were loose, and there was no hot water, so the staff couldn’t help me and I felt cheated, but the room was eventually rebooked.

I was looking for accommodation near Novi Grad, had booked a different place, then found out there are two towns with that name in Bosnia, and the one I actually needed was almost three hours away from my reservation, so I had to rebook on the same day; the staff greeted me warmly in the evening and the experience was very pleasant, although the Wi‑Fi didn’t work in the room I stayed in, which was only a minor issue.

We were an eight‑person group from Bosnia showing our dogs at an exhibition, so we stayed with the dogs; the hotel was convenient – a bit out of the city centre, rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and even though the staff didn’t cook, they arranged for dinner deliveries.

The hotel was perfect, the staff were friendly, the room and bathroom had a large balcony and were very comfortable; the owner seems to have travelled the whole world, literally, and is very familiar with the Balkan stage.
