Breakfast was great, very tasty, plentiful, and served quickly. The location was peaceful, the room comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ran out of toilet paper, but another roll was handed over right away.

The rooms were dated but clean, tidy, and offered good value for money, though the bed was uncomfortable and there were no blackout blinds.

Breakfast: very good Room: hot water supply erratic. On returning home, I received an email informing me that our stay had not been paid for. A number of points arise from this: 1 when checking in I was not told - but could easily have been - that payment was still due. 2 when checking out, the reception desk was unmanned so I left the key on the desk. There were several other keys there as well. 3 at no time was I made aware of payment status, so naturally assumed that payment would be taken automatically. I now understand that payment will be taken on the 30th May. That should be the end of the matter but it could have been avoided

Three Wells B&B has an old‑world charm, a lovely setting, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The TV in our room didn’t work, but it was quickly replaced when we went out. The mattress was too soft, in my opinion.

The welcome was lovely and the property sits in a great location, but the room felt a little tired and basic.
