“Awesome location.”
The location and room view were very good. The furniture is very old and hasn't been updated. The bedding is very old and the mattress is dirty. The wood on the walls isn't stained to look nice.

The room was large for two people. Dinner was very well organized and the portions of snow crabs were generous. The onsen was not crowded. The hotel’s location was perfect, right along the lake, close to the fireworks viewing spot, and there’s a convenient shop directly opposite the hotel.

The women’s outdoor hot spring was fantastic, the Taiwanese staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The corridor had a rather strong odor, but that’s understandable given the hotel’s history.

Right in the middle of the Lake Toya area, you could see the fireworks directly during summer. The staff were friendly and spoke both English and Chinese. The on‑site onsen was clean and spacious, and there was plenty of free parking. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect.

The view from the room included Nakajima and Mount Yotei, which was very good. Having a separate washbasin from the unit bath was a plus. The reception staff’s attitude was good. The bed was narrow, and the bathtub in the room was also small. Voices carried through the corridor (people talking loudly and a child). The miso soup at dinner was cold, the gratin was cold, and the chawanmushi was cold. There were too few dryers in the hot spring area, and the room’s dryer had weak airflow. The staff during meals were not very attentive (they didn’t notice when rice or coffee ran out).
