I would strongly advise against staying here! The rooms are dirtier than a dog kennel, with greasy kitchen walls and dust that has accumulated for months in corners, under beds, and behind nightstands. The drawers and cabinets are filthy or crumbling inside. There are no smoke alarms, and the escape route (Trepoenhaus) is blocked by cabinets. The building’s exposed masonry is a glaring flaw, and a suspected water damage has left a room wall “artistically” covered in putty and paint, with the “crust” still exposed. We had to put our dog’s blankets on the beds because they were cleaner (yellow stains on the pillows). The fridge was full of previous tenants’ leftovers in the freezer, and the sink had no stopper. The garden was littered with a stroller, umbrella, ladder, kitchen utensils, etc. After a night that was unavoidable due to a late arrival, we fled the property in a hurry. The host offered a refund but only after repeated reminders and a threat of legal action; he only paid once that was announced. So, stay away!
