The setting was dreamy, including the surroundings of the hotel. It’s a conference hotel, so you need to know that, but overall everything was fine.
The staff are incredibly courteous and helpful. The location is incredibly beautiful. I will come again privately. No parking spaces.
“Hotel für Privatreisende eher enttäuschend”
The hotel sits right on the lake, and while our room did have a lake view, the overall design of the building didn't make the best use of the location; theoretically you could jump into the lake first thing in the morning. The town of Weggis itself is pretty appealing. The room furnishings were clean and functional but not particularly stylish and some items were worn (floor, cabinets). Although we requested a double bed in the twin room, we received two single beds pushed together. Breakfast was acceptable but rather sparse.

Our room offered a beautiful view of the lake, but there were no toiletries, no AC, and no slippers.

I was given a very nice room, slept wonderfully, and the staff were excellent—I felt completely at home as a guest, thank you! The only tricky part was sorting out the parking, but it eventually worked out.
