Hygiene. The lack of plates, bottle opener, wine glasses, and a small saucepan. Extremely hard pillows and a very hard mattress. The description says a boiler is available, but it isn’t. The picture suggests a tower stay, which is not the case.

The room was very large, with a private bathroom, while the kitchen was shared. The village is cute and characteristic.

The apartment is very nice and the location is great, but there are stairs inside and to get there, so it’s not very suitable for people with walking difficulties. The kitchen is poorly equipped, yet the owner kindly helped us get what we needed.

The room was cozy and clean, and the shared kitchen was handy enough for simple meals. The location is in the city centre, only reachable on foot and by walking up for about 10 minutes, which isn’t ideal if you have heavy luggage or reduced mobility. Inside the house, steep stairs lead to the kitchen and the first room, and another steep set of stairs to the second room. Rooms can only be closed from the inside, so they stay open when you leave. There are no shower towels, only small ones. The kitchen could be better equipped; plates were missing and there were very few glasses and pots. It’s also a pity that there were no mosquito nets, although there were electric mosquito repellent devices.

Breakfast wasn’t included, but the owner gave us local biscuits, tea and coffee for free! The cottage was really cute, brand‑new, full of books and had a wooden ceiling. Because one of the two rooms wasn’t rented, the owner was so kind as to let us use the larger room. The view was beautiful, overlooking the town’s roofs, very quiet (we slept soundly) and tiny, but perfect for a trip where you drive. There’s also a shared kitchen with a microwave, toaster, kettle and some dishes.
