Elong welcomed us warmly, the bungalows were spotless, and the breakfast was hearty. The owner was attentive and arranged a trip to the islands, and we could exchange money there. I recommend it 100/100.

The location is good, and the shop on site has everything, which is handy because the area itself is empty. After walking to the sea at night you’ll find a place called Ikan Bakarl. The host’s mom makes a tasty nasi goreng bento for breakfast. Everyone is kind, and after island hopping they let us use their shower. It might be wise to message ahead because they said the room wasn’t booked. The shower uses plain water.

The rooms are pretty, tidy, clean, spacious, with towels, air‑conditioning, coffee and tea. The owner is super friendly! Breakfast, which includes fried rice and eggs, is neatly served each morning. She also runs a small supermarket on the street front, which is very convenient since the village has few shops. The beach with a warung is within walking distance, and she can arrange trips to the Gili islands where the snorkeling is incredible!
