The Crown Inn, Church Enstone

We absolutely loved it! We booked the cottage, which was stunning, and also booked a room for our daughter and grandson who were promptly upgraded to the studio next to us, which was perfect. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, helpful, and kind.

“Perfect country pub accommodation”

The cottage was lovely right next to the pub, and they upgraded our daughter and grandson to the studio next to us, which made it much easier for everyone.

“Happy with the room. Would really appreciate some non meat dishes in the restaurant.”

I really liked the room and the staff, but the restaurant didn’t have enough pescatarian or non‑meat options.

“Will come back, we had enjoyed our stay and foods.”

The breakfast was very good and tasty, but when we arrived there was only one staff member at the bar and we had to wait after they served our drinks; the transition from the bar to the room was quick, the staff didn’t explain everything, yet the last staff member was very helpful and cheerful. It’s a shame that when we went downstairs there were only two or three staff.

“Very nice & would stay again.”

Breakfast & our evening meals were very nice. Our bedroom was directly above the kitchen which meant our room smelt of cooking, which also penetrated our clothing. Not sure what could be done about it, but thought I'd mention it
