“Disappointing experience, not the place for us”
Many of the staff members were very pleasant and really tried their best to be helpful during our stay. This was especially true when they were trying to assist us with navigating the dining options. The vegetarian food quality was very poor. We had to manually check the menu options every single evening. On a couple of occasions, dishes labelled "vegetarian" actually contained meat stock. The kitchen staff did not understand that meat stock is not vegetarian, forcing us to escalate the issue to the manager. The lack of non-smoking areas was a big issue for us. This may be common across Turkey in general but cigarette smoke was everywhere—by the pool and throughout the outdoor evening entertainment. There was only one tiny designated non-smoking area outside which was part of the restaurant. We visited during the summer months when temperatures hit 42 degrees. The pool was not open until 10am and closed by 6.30pm. The outdoor pool area offered no real comfort from the heat, and the indoor pool is completely encased in glass. It felt like an absolute greenhouse inside. Because of this poor design and the restricted hours, we didn't make use of either pool during our stay, which was a huge shame. We would have definitely made use of the pool in the early morning if it was open
