The location is good, but it’s an expensive hotel in an old building that needs a lot of maintenance. We had to change rooms twice to get a suitable and clean room. The door locks don’t work—you have to be patient—and the air conditioning must have been installed when the building was built in the 1700’s!

The location in old Montreal was excellent, within easy walking distance of many interesting sights, restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff was professional, gracious, helpful and welcoming. The rooms were large, clean, comfortable and quiet, and we felt welcome and at home.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I highly recommend the breakfast – nothing was missing.
